1. Game objective
haciendolagoma is a cycling management game played in private leagues with a maximum of 20 players or in a public league with no participant limit. Among private leagues, there are two game modes: draft or market. In the first, players are selected through a randomized draft, and in the second, players are bought and sold. Points are accumulated as races are completed.
2. Register
There are three registration methods: via email, Google services (Gmail), and Apple ID. For the first method, email registration must be validated. Once registered, users can create or join leagues. Each user can participate in one or more games (premium mode, see point 10) with a different player name.
3. Create and join a league
There are two types of leagues: private leagues and public leagues.
Public Leagues: These are open to all. Anyone can join, and there is no participant limit. To join the public league, navigate to 'Join a League' and choose a player name (see point 6). New
Leagues are private and have a maximum of 20 participants. Creating a league requires the player's name, the league name, and a league password. The league creator is also the league administrator.
To join an existing private league, the user must enter a new player name and join using the league name and password.
Premium users can participate in more than three private leagues.
4. Draft mode - private league
The administrator must start the draft, indicating the number of rounds (between 15 and 25). Each round includes the number of picks equal to the number of participants. For example, in a league with 5 participants, selecting 20 rounds equals 100 total picks.
The draft order is displayed in the standings table until the draft concludes. Points from riders will not accumulate until the draft is completed.
Rider points will not be added until the draft is completed.
It is not possible to leave the league while draft picks are being made. It must be done before or after the draft. If you still want to leave the league, it is recommended that the administrator restarts the league, and then you can leave the league and start the draft again.
4.1. Draft administration
The league administrator can delete the most recent draft pick (up to 10 hours after selection).
The draft order is displayed in the standings table until the draft concludes.
The league administrator can assign riders to all players.
The administrator can also assign a random rider to a player (chosen from the best available riders).
It is not possible to disqualify players during the draft. It must be done before or after the draft. If you still want to disqualify a player, you should restart the league, disqualify the player, and then start the draft again.
Switch league to market format: The league administrator can change the league mode from Draft to Market (not the other way around). This change is irreversible.
5. Market format - private league
Each player starts with 10 riders and an amount of money determined by the league administrator. The team limit is 30 riders.
Each rider has a market value. Value fluctuations are determined by supply and demand combined with global market variations.
A daily rider market is activated (the administrator selects between 10 and 15 riders). Users can bid to buy and add them to their team using their budgets. Resolutions occur the following day, considering the highest bid within the league.
The maximum bid is the limit you can offer, considering the possibility of incurring debt. It is allowed to be in debt when signing riders. However, to score points in races, you must have a positive balance at the start of the race.
Riders sold during multi-day races will continue scoring. Whether they score depends on their alignment at the registration deadline.
Transfers between players are not allowed.
Players can put riders up for sale. Once listed, an offer is automatically received the next day for each listed rider.
Rejecting a sale offer relists the rider for sale.
Extra money is earned as follows: From January to October, on the 1st and 15th of each month, 1 million is granted to each player (not applicable on January 1st).
5.1. Market format administration
The administrator must activate the market.
The administrator can hide daily bid values from all players.
It is possible to force certain riders to be listed for sale. At least one of them will have a value exceeding €400,000.
5.2 Clauses
The league administrator configures whether clauses are allowed. If enabled and if you are a Premium user (see point 10), you can trigger clause payments for other players.
The clauses are visible when you click on another player in the Classification section.
Riders signed through clauses join your team the following day, not immediately
Clause prices are assigned automatically based on factors such as rider value, last bid, and rider points.
There are limitations on the clause system: there are veto periods (1 to 3 days) before any of the three Grand Tours and throughout the final month of the competition (October). During these periods, paying clauses for riders valued over €2 million is not allowed.
Veto periods start at a random time within the 1-3 day range and end once the Grand Tour begins.
For example, if the Tour de France starts on July 3rd, the veto period begins sometime between July 1st and 3rd and ends on July 3rd once the Tour begins.
6. Budget mode in public league New
This is an annual league where you compete against everyone. Each player configures their team by selecting riders within a total budget. Teams must consist of 20 to 30 riders. Teams must be completed before making lineups. Rider prices are fixed for the entire season.
Additionally, each week, 4 extra transfers are allowed: 1 acquisition of riders valued over €2 million and 3 acquisitions of riders valued under €2 million. These transfers can be made anytime during the week. Riders can be released without restriction (always respecting the team size limit), as they do not count as transfers.
From February 1st to August 1st, the budget increases by €2 million per month, starting at €26 million in January and reaching a limit of €40 million (a total increase of €14 million over 7 months). No budget increases occur in September and October.
To score points in races, manual lineups must be made. All races contribute to the standings, and your global position is displayed.
Playing in the public league does not affect the number of private leagues you can join if you are not a Premium user.
7. Configuration and races
The administrator can restart the league, permanently delete the league, or disqualify a player.
Other players can leave the league.
For the category of races, the administrator can choose which races to run. In draft mode, the races to be run can be selected at the end of the draft. In market mode, when the market is activated.
Races categories: 1.UWT, 2.UWT, 1.Pro, 2.Pro, 1.1, 2.1, Grand Tours, World Championships, Olympic Games and European Championships. You can view the races and the score system.
Races can be activated by the league administrator up to 2 hours before the start of the race.
8. Lineups
The lineups can be set manually or automatically.
- Manual: you select a maximum of eight riders per race.
- Automatic: for each race that takes place, all the riders in your team at that moment will be lined up. Logically, only those who take part in the race will score points.
In manual lineups mode, the riders registered for each race are displayed daily (+ symbol).
9. Guess the podium
In market format, you can try to predict the outcome of the race if you are Premium and want to get an extra bonus amount.
The extra money will help you compete more successfully in your bids and pay clauses more easily.
This predictions will be settled the day after the race.
Bonuses: 3 correct riders 600.000€, 2 correct riders €350.000, 1 correct rider €200.000, just for participating: €100.000
